WRS Health is proud to announce the release of a new update to the system. Below is an explanation of
the new updated item.
Bundled and Timely Filing Adjustment Types in Post Payment Screen
WRS has added both Bundled and Timely Filing adjustment types, which can be viewed in the Post
Payment Screen.
Bundled adjustment – This type is used to adjust a CPT Code denied as bundled service.
Bundling, or code bundling, involves putting multiple healthcare services under one billing code. Claims are “bundled” when a payer refuses to pay for two separate services a practice has billed. Instead, it groups, or bundles, the two charges and pays only one, smaller fee.
Timely Filing adjustment – This type is used to adjust a CPT Code or a claim denied due to timely submission. A timely filing limit is the timeframe within which a claim must be submitted to a payer.
Activity Report
Both adjustment types can also be selected and viewed within the billing report module.
