Uploading Practice Documents-Agreements
Whenever we receive a MIPS contract, WE ARE RESPONSIBLE to upload that document into vTiger/CRM.
When logging into vTiger, go into the Organizations tab.

Enter the Practice Name into the Organization Name field and click Search

This will return only the practices with that name.

The Organization Name is a hyperlink, Click on it.
This is the Organization home page. To the right you will see links to different sections. We are currently only interested in Documents. Click Documents.

Here you will find all the documents that have been attached for this practice. We want to upload our own. Click Add Document

It will open a Quick Create Document, which DOES NOT contain an upload feature. We are uploading a document, so this quick create screen is not helpful. Click Go to full form

Enter the appropriate information.
Good naming conventions are paramount. Make sure the title includes the service, provider (or practice), and year. (This will help us quickly identify what the service is, and for who, when doing a generic search of documents)
Use the drop down under Folder Name to pick where the document should be housed. I'm going to pick MU because it was the precursor to MIPS. If it's not MIPS, you can use another Folder Name, as all documents show in the documents section, regardless of folder.

Now, to upload the file. Click Choose File under File Name.
A new window will open allowing you to search for the file on your computer.

Select the appropriate file, and click Open. This will attach the document to the new document.
The file name will appear next to the Choose File button

Once your document has everything you need, click Save.
You will be dropped back to the Organization home page. Click back into documents to ensure the file saved correctly.

If I sort by my Modified Time (click the title until the documents are listed in descending order, from newest to oldest), my document will appear on top,

Clicking the title of the document will open the document page. Clicking the file name downloads the file to your computer.

But be careful, because you can't get back to the organization easily from here. Notice that the quick access bar to the right of the document has changed, and no longer has links within the organization. You will need to go back to Organization tab to search again.
***NOTES***
It is NOT advisable to go to the Documents tab to create a new document, as it is not linked to the organization.

What you CAN do is use the Documents tab to Search for documents across practices that may have a similar theme or title.
Type in a search word into the File Name or title field, then click Search

This returns all our documents across practices that have MIPS in the searched field. Unfortunately this search does not contain the practice name, which is why we gave the document a very specific Title- including the provider, or practice's name. This way we don't need to open each document to determine which practice it applies to.
