Secure Messaging Exchange is a new method to send and receive encrypted healthcare data. All certified EHRs must be able to communicate via Secure Messaging for MIPS. This connectivity is a requirement for a successful submission for both MU and MIPS.
WRS has partnered with industry leader EMR Direct phiMail® to offer an integrated messaging platform that can exchange information using Secure Messaging email, as integrated within the EMR (WRS > Messaging > Direct Messaging).
Costs:
- $298 per year, for 1st two benefitting providers and provides 2 way (incoming & outgoing) email address.
- $149 for additional full time provider per year (no additional email addresses)
- $299 one-time set up and Identify Proofing fee of $39 per additional provider (above first two providers) per year
