New Practice Setup and Configuration
Implementation to Clinical Hand-off
Once clinical setup has been done by the Implementation team (c/o Faith Estrellada), the Clinical Team will conduct a review to determine if the setup has been done successfully and all clinical content has been added per specialty/taxonomy code.
Implementation will forward the practice ID, specialty, and at least one billing provider name (to review content status and erx validation).
Clinical Review of Setup Workflow
1. Create a test patient (setup test) with the following criteria, which once created initially, can then be selected from the “patient suggestions” for each practice review (moving forward):
- Setup Test (MALE)
- DOB: 1/1/1973
- SSN: 123456789
- 123 TEST RD GOSHEN, NY 10924
- PHONE: 845-555-1212
- ACCEPT THE POLICIES
- NO INSURANCE/SELF PAY
- ADD “test” PHARMACY: Test FaxPharmacyConfig
2. Go to Administration > Practice Setup > Edit Specialty. Make sure the practice specialty has been added.
3. Log in as the provider and create a note for the “test” patient, verify the following (based on specialty):

NOTE TYPES: Has full compendium of note types available, including blank, brief, phone, presription, review; as well as specialty specific note types (Allergy, Audio, Cardiology, ENT, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Visit)

DEFAULT NOTE FOR SPECIALTY: From customize list, has specialty note as default.

CHIEF COMPLAINTS: Toggled to diagnoses, and loads to assessment page when selected

DROPDOWNS: ROS and PE have full listing of dropdowns

HPI CONTENT: HPI dropdown has full list of mastered HPI templates

MEDICAL HISTORY and SURGICAL HISTORY: From history page, ensure that WRS default and specialty assigned history are accessible for selection

VITAL SIGNS: All vital signs relevant to specialty

SUPERBILL: From orders and assessment pages, all specialty content is available for selection

PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS: Add diagnosis to assessment (after review of patient instruction list) that has an associated instruction and verify the functionality)

DRAWING TOOL: Open drawing tool and verify full compendium of drawings

PEN FORMS: For practices that have enabled the digital pen, ensure all pen forms available for that specialty

ELECTRONIC ROUTING: From medication page (and as logged in as the provider) create Levaquin prescription (see screenshot) and send to pharmacy as selected from patient registration. Verify rx is sent successfully

3. Login to WRS Training and Implementation and send a test fax to the practice. Confirm receipt in their fax queue.
4. After setup review is completed and no issues are found, reach out to Implementation team: Practice and providers have been successfully setup as above and is ready to go-live.
