Why is a product/NDC not listed?

Our medication database comes from FDB. Below are reasons why FDB has not listed the products on the database.

  • Manufacturer is not willing to provide the required product information to add.
  • Product has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
  • Invalid product code.
  • Product or specific NDC is not available in the United States or never launched on the market or was discontinued from the market.
  • Manufacturer did not submit the product for listing on the database.
  • FDB has not received any customer requests to add the NDC.
  • Product does not meet FDB's inclusion criteria.
